A good friend of mine passed away this week in a car accident. Though I didn't know him TOO well, I just think that it makes me wonder why. Why did it happen to him? Hank Mercer was a great guy. Someone who would always make you laugh. Sure, he always messed around and got in trouble during cross country practice, but that's what made him special. Thank you Hank for all the great laughs and memories. The subject of this journal isn't even right, you're not even gone, because you'll always be here with us. Right now, I know you're looking down from above seeing that this is all going overboard for you, and your laughing at me, but you always made me laugh. You will always be one crazy kid, and thanks for all the times that you "let loose" at all of the soccer games at school. No one will ever know. Thanks again Hank. You will always be remembered.
